Andy Caldwell helped start COLAB in 1991 as its founding Executive Director.  

Andy’s activities include a weekly radio show on AM 1440 and AM 1410 as well as a weekly radio show on AM 1290 in Santa Barbara. In addition, Andy writes a weekly column for the Santa Maria Times and Lompoc Record and regularly attends County Board of Supervisors meeting to speak on behalf of COLAB and serve as a government watchdog.

Andy serves on the Santa Maria Breakfast Rotary Club Board of Directors and is a   previous board member of the Santa Maria Valley YMCA. He has been awarded “Best Community Watchdog”, by readers of the Santa Maria Sun and is a Santa Maria Valley Ag Association Annual Award Recipient. He has received Resolutions of Commendation from the State Assembly, the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors and the Santa Maria City Council.

Andy is married to Linda and they have seven children.
